  11.      Hi.  I hope somebody out there has some expertise on the Amiga's disk 
  12. drive.  I have an Amiga 2000HD and my disk drive (3 1/2") has been giving me 
  13. problems lately.  I've had my computer for quite a few years, so I suppose its 
  14. breakdown isn't completely unwarrented.  Anyway, the problems started with the 
  15. drive thinking that I had removed the disk when I actually had not and now it 
  16. has gotten to the point where it's making a grating noise and the light stays 
  17. on when a disk is inserted.  Is there anyway to sidestep the complete 
  18. replacement solution?  I'd really like to hear a software solution; but I 
  19. might be thinking unrealistically.

  21.      Also, I've been storing my A2000 on its side to conserve space on my desk 
  22. as of late.  Would this be contributing to my problems?  Thanks in advance...
